Being the kid sister

Who: Iris and anyone!
What: Trying to get to know the people and place she's stuck in better
Where: Around
When: New Moon
Warnings: Unsure, will add as needed

It had been an interesting month for Iris. She had been dragged from her sunless homeland and to a strange place with strange people, her older brother included, and learned a lot about her homeland's distant past. It took her a bit to adjust, but she was doing her best. She was glad to be around old friends and her brother, but there was something about this place that still seemed very off to her.

She had been spending a good chunk of time with the chocobos as of late and it was time to go and look around and get a better feel for the place she was going to be staying for a long time. It wouldn't hurt to talk to some of the others and get to know them a bit better.

So off she went, wandering down halls and testing doors. If they were unlocked, she carefully looked inside to see if it was safe. Come say hi to the little sister.

Even at her age, Iris had the good sense to pretend that she hadn't noticed. She wasn't acting like someone who had been permanently psychologically scarred, either, so Liam relaxes a bit, confidence flowing back into his words.

"Glad to see you're safe," relatively, at least. Gladio had told him about her world, so he assumed that this may even be preferable to the Starscourge. "How are you holding up?" Even so much as being trapped in a cage was sure to leave its mark, but she seemed to be coping well.

Liam nods sympathetically. "Your brother told me about your world." The sort of hell that the people- her people, Liam supposed, in time- in her world were suffering. Liam tried not to think of what befell the team he abandoned on the mountain, though he knows in his heart what must have happened. The fact that Iris had already confronted that thought said a lot about her moral character. He decides to say as much.

"It's good that you're thinking of the people you left behind. I'm glad to hear that they'll be fine without part of their leadership, at least for awhile." Liam didn't like to keep secrets unnecessarily, so he makes it clear that he knows Iris and Gladio are nobility - and much as he hated class systems, their people had lucked out with the Amicitia siblings. At least, this was his understanding of the situation.

"Though, I've been trying to figure out if there's a goal beyond 'survival' we should work towards. If you could, would you want to go back home, Iris?" Liam supposed that if the Gods had brought them here, there must be a way to return. Willingly, that was.
