Being the kid sister
Who: Iris and anyone!
What: Trying to get to know the people and place she's stuck in better
Where: Around
When: New Moon
Warnings: Unsure, will add as needed
It had been an interesting month for Iris. She had been dragged from her sunless homeland and to a strange place with strange people, her older brother included, and learned a lot about her homeland's distant past. It took her a bit to adjust, but she was doing her best. She was glad to be around old friends and her brother, but there was something about this place that still seemed very off to her.
She had been spending a good chunk of time with the chocobos as of late and it was time to go and look around and get a better feel for the place she was going to be staying for a long time. It wouldn't hurt to talk to some of the others and get to know them a bit better.
So off she went, wandering down halls and testing doors. If they were unlocked, she carefully looked inside to see if it was safe. Come say hi to the little sister.

So when he spotted Iris down the hall he was pretty quick to greet her.
"Hey, watcha up to?"

Sorry Iris, he wasn't going to leave you to wander around alone. On the other hand, he'd do the same with anyone else. He didn't trust this place.
He didn't want anyone to end up like that table that was split in half.

"That'd be great. I've been spending a lot of time with the chocobos since I got here." She didn't mind the tour. It'd be rather nice.

He pushed open the door for the bathroom.
"To your right we have a lovely and not at all creepy bathroom. This was here last time we had a storm, so if you ever get stuck back here for some reason it's probably the place to go."
Of course, they had sets of keys and had already unlocked the stuff in here, so besides the doors they couldn't get through yet they were good to wander around. As he headed towards the hall he swiveled around and walked backwards to look at Iris, holding up his hands to direct her down the corridor.
"And if the lady would come this way, we have, uh. Showers."
no subject
"That's good to know," she said before they moved on.
"We could also all use a few more showers in a place like this," she added with a grin. She knew supplies were limited and water was something that they would need to save.

At least they had a pool to work with?
"If you really want to work up a sweat, though, our lovely 5 star gym is right down this way." Which. Prompto hadn't been using, but maybe Gladio had. "Actually, I wonder if there's anything in here we should pilfer while we have the chance."
no subject
"If things keep changing in this place, it'd be a good idea to take a close look around."
no subject
"We still have to open some of those doors, too. I bet some of these weights might be strong enough to hold them open when we get to that."
A metal table had done the trick. A large dumbbell probably would too, right? Prompto headed into the gym to look around and see what was available.
no subject
"I know buddy... couple more days and papa can get you more water." As the lily drinks he scritches his ears gently. Then Gladio is capping the bottle and moving over to pull one of the mats down, clearly getting ready to start his workout routine before it gets too hot when he catches her by the door.
"Hey kiddo... what'cha up to?" Please don't mind the train wreck that is his back and shoulders right now. It's fine. Just a few scratches, no big deal.

She moved a bit closer so that she could get a better look at the tiger lily. It looked kind of familiar to her, but it was still rather odd seeing a plant drink like that. She then looked over at her brother and frowned. He really needed to stop getting hurt.
"Gladdy, you need to stop getting yourself hurt," she said, shaking her head. She knew that he was rather reckless, but he still needed to be careful.
no subject
"Hurt?" He tilts his head, confused. Look he does a lot of stupid shit but what'd he do this time? He's not hurt? This is fine.
"And this is Leo... Leopold really for Leopoldii Lillium but Leo." She might recognize the latin name for the breed of tigerlily it was. If anyone was going to it'd be her.
no subject
She crouched down close to the plant so that she could get a better look. "Poor guy. All this heat is not good for him...or any of us really."
no subject
"It's rough but we've got a plan as soon as powers kick back in. Can't believe I didn't think of it earlier."
no subject
She had to have some fun with her brother and she knew that he came up with a few rather odd ideas as they grew up.

He's actually coming from the sally port hall, once again going through the motions of maneuvering from the outer portion of Rookshire further in. He spots Iris from behind, and clears his throat before approaching.
"Hi." Spirit is still standing a fee feet behind her, an eyebrow raised curiously. "I think we're both new here."
no subject
"I remember you from the dreams. You're Spirit right?" She wanted to make sure she was thinking correctly. This place was so weird and she didn't know if she was thinking right or not.
no subject
The redhead nods, slowly. "Yeah, that's right. I don't recall your name, though. A lot of that dream is...er," he struggles to find the right word, "jumbled up, so to speak."
no subject
She didn't really want to talk about the dreams, so she let that conversation go. "I don't think I'll ever understand this place."
I am sorry for a late tag ;;
"So long as you can find your way to the front door and the food, I think that's good enough. I'm sure there's more to understand but...uh, you know. Creepy hospitals aren't really my thing." He shrugs, swiping overgrown hair from his face. "I'll let the crazy kids do the exploring and reap the benefits of their efforts."

By the time he'd reconciled with Gladio and put his hostility towards Ardyn aside, enough time had passed that a re-introduction at this point felt too late, and Liam simply nodded at Iris as she passed by from time to time. Now, as Liam wanders the halls, he catches Iris coming towards him and offers her a genuine smile, open to conversation. An instant later, he remembers his body is covered in bruises, evidence of his and Gladio's night together. Shit! Liam thinks he's never been embarrassed of taking a lover, per se, but he thinks a young sibling might not want to know the sordid details practically written all over him.
Feeling more self conscious than he's felt since he was young and desperate to impress, Liam's smile turns to nervousness. He adjusts the hood of his cut-up hoodie to hide his neck better, letting his loose hair spill over his shoulders. Unfortunately, trying to duck now out would just make it look like he was actively avoiding her. He didn't want that kind of impression. "Uh, hey, Iris." Gladio? Never heard of him.
no subject
"Hi, Liam," she said with a friendly smile. She was used to seeing people beat up a lot. Her family was always throwing themselves into fights and other such things. It was just the way that they were.
no subject
"Glad to see you're safe," relatively, at least. Gladio had told him about her world, so he assumed that this may even be preferable to the Starscourge. "How are you holding up?" Even so much as being trapped in a cage was sure to leave its mark, but she seemed to be coping well.
no subject
She shook her head a little bit and gave Liam a friendly smile. "At least there are people back home to help take care of the daemons since we're stuck here."
no subject
"It's good that you're thinking of the people you left behind. I'm glad to hear that they'll be fine without part of their leadership, at least for awhile." Liam didn't like to keep secrets unnecessarily, so he makes it clear that he knows Iris and Gladio are nobility - and much as he hated class systems, their people had lucked out with the Amicitia siblings. At least, this was his understanding of the situation.
"Though, I've been trying to figure out if there's a goal beyond 'survival' we should work towards. If you could, would you want to go back home, Iris?" Liam supposed that if the Gods had brought them here, there must be a way to return. Willingly, that was.
