It's not a particularly well thought out tactic. Then again, almost nothing Noctis ever did fell into that category. But it had gotten them out of the way of the line of fire. Or of a heavy chunk of metal landing directly on top of them.

He only currently had two potions and he really didn't feel like wasting them both within the first hour of this trip.
